Self-Managed Participants
If you manage your own NDIS plan, buying from us is simple:
- Browse and purchase from our store like any other online shop. Pay with your own funds at checkout.
- Keep your receipt. We email you a tax invoice with every order — formatted and ready for NDIS claiming.
- Submit the receipt through the NDIA participant portal (myplace) to claim reimbursement against your plan.
- Get reimbursed directly into your nominated bank account.
Self-managed participants can buy from any supplier, including us. No provider registration is needed on our end. If you need help with the claiming process, chat with our team — we're available 24/7.
Plan-Managed Participants
If a plan manager handles your NDIS funding, we work directly with them so you don't pay out of pocket:
- Browse and select the products you need.
- Send us your plan manager's details. Click here to send us their details via live chat and we'll handle the rest.
- Your plan manager pays the invoice from your NDIS funding. Zero out-of-pocket cost for you.
Plan-managed participants can also buy from any supplier. Your plan manager handles the paperwork — and we make it easy for them with properly formatted NDIS invoices.

NDIA-Managed Participants
If your plan is NDIA-managed (agency-managed), you are currently required to purchase from registered NDIS providers. Mobility Concierge is not yet a registered provider. We recommend speaking with your support coordinator about your options, or chat with us and we can help point you in the right direction.
How Purchases Are Categorised
Your plan manager or support coordinator can help work out how your purchase should be categorised in your plan. Common categories for mobility equipment include Assistive Technology and Personal Mobility Equipment.
If you need help working out which category applies, ask us via live chat.
When You Need an OT Assessment
For items valued over approximately $1,500 (such as complex seating), the NDIS typically requires an Occupational Therapist (OT) assessment and a formal quote before funding is approved. This applies regardless of how your plan is managed.
Not sure if your purchase needs an OT assessment? Chat with us and we'll let you know.
